Electronic Signature

I am looking into setting up a request form that captures an "electronic signature" of the requester, in lieu of them having to fill out and attach a "Terms and Conditions" form. Any one done anything similar? I know the process already captures in the background who submitted the request, but the group involved wanted something that was more obvious to the requester that they were accepting the terms of the request.

Any ideas?

thanks, html works

quik - it is possible to use HTML formatting for inserting a link into the Help text, but I've not tried anything else. You might try formatting your text using standard HTML tags. Let us know what happens.

Hiya,

can you format the text inside where the help text usually goes?

I did it but was not presented in a nice way

thanks

I think they got this working, and have an example:

Anymore, most places online make you type out your full name or the "I Accept" box as mentioned. If you already have their name stored, display the value and tell them to type it exactly as written to accept the terms.

We have a couple places where we do something like this I think. We include a Yes/No variable that says "I agree to the Terms and Conditions" and then have the "Terms and Conditions" statement in the place where help text usually goes. The field defaults to no and they can't submit the form until it is changed to yes.

Hi Bob... I'm very new to Service-Now.com so forgive me if this doesn't help. I wonder if you could add a pop up esignature box to a request?

The ESignatures plugin might help... http://wiki.service-now.com/index.php?title=Approval_with_E-Signature_Pl... . It's for approvals primarily but might be able to be modified to suit your needs in some way?
